No bond for 18-year-old arrested on terrorism charges

Mahin Khan, who just turned 18, was arrested at his Tucson home Friday after warrants were served there and in Chandler. Few details were immediately available, but Khan arrest stems from alleged threats against government buildings in Pima and Maricopa counties.

Animal shelters in the Phoenix metro area are overflowing with dogs who were terrified by Fourth of July fireworks and ran away. "It is crazy at the shelter today -- lots of folks that have lost pets, folks that have found pets and are bringing them to the shelter," Melissa Gable, the spokeswoman for Maricopa County Animal Care and Control said Tuesday.
